The usual form of agriculture in this area is ranching,
think of the Wild West, on average farms measure several thousand hectars
or several sqare km, many are far bigger and raise hundreds or thousands
of beef cattle. A farmer that gave me a ride told me about his four farms
which are up to 200km apart. He offered me work for a week, unfortunately
it was time to go to Montréal.
Glacier National Park, western Rocky Mountains.
The same park.
This is where its name comes from. Glaciers on 2100m above sea level.
Glacier NP is smaller and slightly less spectacular than famous Banff
and Jasper NP.
A truck stop somewhere in the Prairies.
A native couple gave me a ride in their Pick-up truck.
On August 27, after 8 days and 3000km on Highway #1, I took the Greyhound
bus from Sudbury, ON to Montréal, QC.
